To help improve water quality, enhance recreational enjoyment, and maintain a healthier aquatic ecosystem, The Pond and Lake Connection, 1112 Federal Road, Brookfield, CT, will be conducting a targeted aquatic vegetation management treatment at Greenwood Lake on June 3rd beginning at 11:00 AM.
This treatment is designed to control excessive growth of invasive aquatic plants and nuisance algae that can interfere with boating, fishing, swimming, and overall lake health.

WATER USE RESTRICTION
The only restriction associated with this treatment is:
• Do not use treated water for irrigation purposes on food crops until at least five (5) days after application.
This management effort is an important step in preserving Greenwood Lake’s health and beauty by reducing invasive vegetation and algae growth while supporting a more balanced aquatic environment for residents and visitors to enjoy.
